What is Fine Art Printing?
Fine art printing is the term used to refer to images being printed with the best printers, using superior ink, and on very high-quality paper.
This significantly increases the print's visual appeal and longevity.

Although it was originally only used by professional photographers and art galleries, owning and displaying a fine art print is now something for anyone.

All of Kunsthaus' printing is done by Silvertone International. Silvertone is renowned for being one of the best Fine Art Printing companies in the world. Silvertone uses Epson printers with original Epson Ultrachrome ink. No third-party ink is used to guarantee maximum longevity.

More about the Prints
Print Finish
When purchasing a print you have the option to choose one of the following types of Print Finish:
Fine Art Paper
The image is expertly printed on Tecco PM230 Fine Art paper.
It is then carefully packaged in a cylinder tube and set for delivery.

Fine Art Canvas
The image is expertly printed on UV Resistant high-resolution Rembrandt 380 gsm canvas material.
It is then carefully packaged in a cylinder tube and set for delivery.

Fine Art Canvas - Stretched
The Fine Art Canvas print (same as above) is then stretched onto a wooden frame with a depth of either 25mm or 50mm depending on the size of the print. It is then carefully packaged and sent for delivery to you already stretched and ready to be hung on your wall.

Printing Sizes
The sizes for the various prints vary. To see an image's available printing size click on the print and view the options listed.
The respective printing size options are:

A0 : ± 1200mm x 850mm

A1 : ± 850mm x 600mm

A2 : ± 600mm x 420mm

A3 : ± 420mm x 300mm

A4 : ± 300mm x 210mm

Delivery
All prints ordered through Kunsthaus include nationwide delivery in South Africa.
Deliveries within South Africa will take 7-10 working days.
Please contact us with requests to have a print delivered to somewhere outside of South Africa.

Andreas is a German fine art printing expert with more than 40 years of experience in the industry. He is a trained fine art printer, scanner operator/retoucher and all-around Photoshop expert.
​
Andreas is the Owner and CEO of Silvertone International and the visionary behind the Kunsthaus dream.
Andreas is usually one of two places. He's either busy printing whilst listing to German radio, or outside enjoying a traditional South African braai.
